Jogging is fun. You have to jog if you want to play basketball because this is the best thing to do when you are conditioning for this game, while not in the gym. Now, some people actually prefer jogging inside. Yet others prefer to jog outside. Why is this? There are a number of benefits of jogging when you aren’t in the gym, so here are some of my thoughts.
When you jog outside you have all this space. You can go where you want and as far as you want. This is always fun to do as people hate being restricted. Sometimes there are people around that keep you from going where you want to and that can become a pain. You have to share the space.
This brings us to point two. If you are using a gym that is normally frequented, you might be limited as to where you can go. You might have to dodge flying balls and such and come off it, who likes running in circles? We know we don’t.
When you don’t run inside you can get a breath of fresh air. You can breathe in the air that is cut off when you are inside. Breathing while running is very refreshing and recommended and sometimes the gym is just a bit stuffy.
You can see things that you haven’t seen before. This is because you can set the pace at which you run, and you don’t’ have to worry about bumping into people. This has been a problem for some. They don’t want to have to jog around tons of people. This is understandable. If you jog around a lot of people, you have to go to their speed or move out of the way.
When you jog outside, you get breezes. Therefore, you don’t get as hot as you do when you run in the gym. There is always fresh air around you. Sometimes people actually faint when they run in the gym because of how hot it gets inside without that breeze that you get from outside. Others say it is about the same temperature wise, but it has been proven that those who run outside of the gym feel a bit cooler.
Others find that it is just plain relaxing. You have the fresh air. You have the different view. You have the different streets you can choose. There is so much of a difference than running laps in the gym. You don’t have to see the same thing day in and day out nor smell the same smells which aren’t’ all that appealing when you come to think on it.
As you can see, there are a lot of benefits to running outside as opposed to the gym. You just have to look for them. They are there though. When you look for them, and you find them, then you can see how much more of a good time you have. So see for yourself which one you like more. Feel the freedom that you get. We can tell you all we want, but this is something you just have to see for yourself.
